SFBATM Election Debate (ROUND 1):


Objective: The voters should know enough about the candidates to cast their votes.


Structure:


- Opening remarks ( 2 mins)

- 4 questions (4 x 2 mins =8 mins)

- Closing remarks (2 mins)


Each candidate will be asked6 questions. The order of questions between the two candidates will be alternated after each question.


Rules:


- Answer the moderator only to the question asked. Do not talk about the answer given by the other candidate. Do not criticize the other candidate's answer, do not pass any comments on the other candidate's answer. Just answer for yourself.

- Please do not use any derogatory words, no bad words, no foul language. Be respectful and dignified.

- Please do not mention any religion, caste, or community. Speak for Tamils as a whole.

- Please don't talk about the past or refer to any particular EC or person, either directly or indirectly. Just talk about the future and what would you do in the future if you get elected.

- If the moderator feels that a question may not have been completely answered, he may ask for extra clarification.

Here are the guidelines from the moderators for the first debate on 09/18/2021 (President, Secretary and Treasurer). Please note that the questions are known only to the moderators. Even the election officer doesn't know the questions.


The SFBATM Election Debate (ROUND 1) for PRESIDENT, SECRETARY and TREASURER roles is on September 19, 2021 3pm - 6pm PDT.
