Election Process


Election will be done online by https://electionrunner.com/ same as last year.


Access:-


  • The Election officer will not have access to members, election result or ballots.

  • A SFABTM member trusted and appointed by the election office will sign a non discloser agreement and will work with Treasurer to verify the member information from Jan 2021 to until the new membership cut off and will work with the Secretary to get the members emails (only emails and no other information) on file to upload into https://electionrunner.com/ and will send the ballots and will receive the election results. This representative will announce the results in the annual general body meeting, If he is not available at that time, the EO will get the results from this representative and will announce the results.


eVoting Process

  • Election will be conducted using the online service https://electionrunner.com/. Votes will be registered electronically and anonymously. Nobody including the Election Officer will know how the members voted.

  • Members who are eligible to vote will receive an email with a unique link. Members can click the link to open the ballot and submit their votes.

  • Each member will be able to vote only once.

  • Election will be open for 60 hours from midnight 12:01 AM October 07, 2021 (Thursday) until 12:00 PM Noon on October 9, 2021 (Saturday) during which time members will be able to submit their votes. The system will automatically block voting outside this window.


Ballot Emails

  • Each voter will receive the ballot email from noreply@electionrunner.com around midnight October 07, 2021, 12:01 AM as soon as the election is open.

  • The email will be coming from noreply@electionrunner.com. The email will have "from" as "SFBATM Election office 2021 <noreply@electionrunner.com>". Do not reply to this email. This email address is not monitored.

  • After 24 hours, the system will send the first reminder to those who have not yet voted around October 08, 2021, 12:01 AM

  • Again after another 24 hours, the system will send a second and final reminder to those who have not yet voted around October 09, 2021, 12:01 AM. After the second reminder members will have 12 hours to vote until noon.

  • If you did not receive the email, check the spam mail folder.
